A downloadable Assistant for Windows

Meet Project Alex — Your Intelligent Desktop Companion.

Project Alex is an experimental AI assistant that lives on your desktop, not in a browser tab. Unlike Siri or ChatGPT, Alex runs entirely locally on your machine. She sees your cursor, lives on your taskbar, and talks with you via voice in real-time.

Looks great, will it (and the godot extension) be updated to work on Linux and Mac in the near future?

Hello! Thank you! I'll try to update extension in near future.

Just released v1.1 with native macOS support (Universal2 for Apple Silicon & Intel).

You can grab it here: https://github.com/PhilNikitin/godot-kokoro/releases

Let me know if it runs smoothly on your machine!

Thank you very much, I have installed it, the classes are all available without errors. But the TextToSpeech node from the test scene fails to load the model voices and tokens. They are located in the folder as per the guide.
